I managed to get a "carded" figure of this character from the "LUCHA FUERTE" line. You may guess the Lucha Fuerte was a lucha libre show from Argentina during the 80s and 90s. And you would be correct.
The figure was made by the company Plastirama with molds they stole to Top Toys' MOTU line. So, yeah, these are Masters of the Universe bootlegs.
Only seven figures were made for this line. The name of this character is "Plastiboy" and he comes with a helmet (that really looks like Ram-Man's helmet), a shield and a sissy pink bear (?), the bear is hollow and head pops up, he may be a weapon or something, I don't know.
But the fun thing about this figure (and the reason for this post's title) is this:
If you think you've seen that logo somewhere else, is because you have...
That's right! Plastiboy is Plastirama's mascot. Why? I don't know. Maybe they traded the toy line with the show for the inclusion of that figure and a banner on the credits. Really, I have no idea.
The question remains, if you're going to make your company mascot, at least you're going to make it look cool...
Oh... Right...
This figure is no longer with me. Now belongs to a Toy Breaker that enjoys crappy toys. Hope you enjoy it!
